Albert Ali Salah received the Ph.D. degree from the Computer Engineering Department of Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Türkiye. He is a professor and chair of Social and Affective Computing at Utrecht University, and an adjunct professor at Boğaziçi University. He works on multimodal interfaces, pattern recognition, and computer analysis of human behavior. He was a program chair of IEEE FG’20, and currently chairs the Steering Committee of the conference. He is an editorial board member of IEEE Trans. Affective Computing, Pattern Recognition, and IJHCS. He is a senior member of IEEE and ACM.
