Türkiye welcomes people from all over the world, and it is usually easy to obtain a travel visa, if one is required. Please check the requirements carefully (e.g. passport valid for 6 months, eVisa, invitation letters, etc.). In some countries, invitation letters are required for the visa process. We provide signed invitations to our registered participants upon request.
For passports that qualify for eVisa, the process is very fast (i.e. a few minutes), but payment with some credit cards may cause problems. A 3D Secure system is the standard in Türkiye, and some countries (such as those in North America) do not have this. If your attempts at eVisa payment fail, the easiest way may be to ask a colleague who has a card from a different country (e.g. from a European country or from Türkiye) to do the payment for you.
